We about us
The company Reinhard Tweer GmbH was founded in 1910 in Bielefeld-Brackwede.
In 1940 the existing factory was built in Bielefeld-Sennestadt. After combining of both
factories in the year 1984 we produce today the material cast steel and spheroidal cast iron.
Today there are 309 people working at this place.
We attach great importance to the education because a high future potential lies here.
In the professions that requires trainings like foundry technician, electrician, metal worker, pattern
maker or industrial manager 6 apprentices are employed. No high fluctuation has to be established
in the complete employee tribe. Many employees celebrate their 25-year or 40-year anniversary.
The yearly production is about 20000-25000 tons,
one part is about 7000 tons cast steel and the rest part is spheroidal cast iron.
